Proud of my son

My son was just accepted into 2 more colleges.......he's 5 for 5 so far and I am very proud of him!! His top 3 choices are yet to be heard from, but things are looking good.......

Still have yet to meet with the bankruptcy attorney.....that comes Monday. I need to get this resolved and behind me so I can move forward. Day 386 is here and no cravings, desires or wants to drink. It does get easier and easier each day. I have to remain relentless in that pursuit; no false sense of security. I know and remember how easy it is to relapse. Drinking does NOT make things better, it does NOT make things go away, it does NOT enhance my life in any way, shape or form.

Congrats
"I hope his top 3 are acceptances as well. Good luck Monday and congrats on the sobriety."

"I have come to know that thoughts, like water, will stay on course if we make a place for them to go. Otherwise, our thoughts follow the course of least resistance, always seeking the lower levels. Probably the greatest challenge and the most difficult thing you will face in mortal life is to learn to control your thoughts. In the Bible it says, as a man ‘thinketh in his heart, so is he’ (Prov. 23:7). One who can control his thoughts has conquered himself. As you learn to control your thoughts, you can overcome habits, even degrading personal habits. You can gain courage, conquer fear, and have a happy life. "
